Fantasia Fest 2023: On the Docket

Dear Moviegoers,
When film festivals were forced to go virtual/online due to the Covid Pandemic, a whole world of movies opened up to critics who otherwise wouldn’t be able to attend such events in person. This included me, as I tend to stay within the Southeast region of Louisiana (maybe it’s time to change things up?).
Fantasia Fest has, hands down, been my favorite of these newly opened-up festivals to cover. The movies they tend to showcase are international, independent, often weird, and sometimes underground.
Sharing is caring. Please pass this along to friends, family, and followers.
While I don’t believe that this year’s event has a virtual platform for worldwide audiences (bummer), access to a wide range of critics has continued, broadening the scope of coverage for these diverse and eclectic movies exponentially.
If you can visit Montreal, Quebec from now until 8/9/2023, I highly recommend attending some theatrical engagements.
The following list of flicks represents what I plan on reviewing here on Moviegoing with BIll in the upcoming days/weeks. For the full list, click here:
